Join us for a night of competition, community, and impact as dancers from across the region come together to swing, spin, and shine — all in support of The Giving Gala benefitting The Giving Plate.
Dance Styles & Divisions
West Coast Swing
Divisions:
Lower Division (Novice/Intermediate) – great for dancers newer to competition or building confidence.
Upper Division (Advanced/All-Star) – for seasoned dancers ready to showcase their skills at a higher level.
Format: Jack & Jill style — leaders and followers paired randomly to test adaptability, timing, and creativity.
Country Swing
Divisions:
Lower Division – for dancers developing fundamentals and looking to test their skills on the floor.
Upper Division – for advanced dancers comfortable with spins, dips, tricks, and musical interpretation.
Format: Jack & Jill style.
Line Dance
All-Level Competition – three fun, accessible dances chosen to encourage maximum participation.
Music & dances selected for quality, energy, and crowd appeal.
Perfect for both seasoned dancers and those new to competition.
Competition Details
Entry Fees: $20 per competition entry
(Example: West Coast + Country Swing + Line Dance = $60 total)
Early-bird promos and bundles may be announced closer to the event.

West Coast Swing music curated in collaboration with WCS community leaders.
Country Swing & Line Dance music selected by our competition coordinator.
Judging: Focused on musicality, connection, technique, and floor presence.

November 7th: Dance till you Drop & Social Dance Night @ The Open Arts Center! 6:00pm - Midnight.
November 8th Morning /Afternoon: Registration & prelims for West Coast Swing, Country Swing, and Line Dance.
November 8th Evening Gala: Finals take place during The Giving Gala with an audience cheering you on in a formal setting at the National Guard Armory next to the Old Mill District.
